This website, metsovillas.gr, is operated by MetsoVillas, a sole proprietorship of Nikos Stachoulis, four private guest suites in Metsovo, Greece. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@metsovillas.gr or +30 694 690 5096, or by post at Vasileiou Mpousvarou 2, Metsovo 442 00, Greece.
This site has no booking form and no user accounts. All reservations are made directly by phone or email. We do not collect names, payment details, or booking information through the website itself.
We use a cookie consent banner and, if you accept it, Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Your choice (accept or decline) is remembered on your device using your browser's local storage, so we don't ask you again on every visit. If you decline, the Meta Pixel is never loaded and no advertising data is sent to Meta. For Google Analytics, see the note below on Google Consent Mode.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Limited) collects anonymized information about how visitors use this site: pages viewed, time spent, approximate location (from IP address, which we ask Google to anonymize), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This helps us understand which pages are useful and improve the site. Google Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months and then automatically deleted.
This site uses Google's Consent Mode. If you decline or have not yet chosen, no Google Analytics cookie is set and no individual visit data is stored against you; Google may still receive a basic, cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which it uses only in aggregated, non-identifying statistical models and cannot be tied back to you as an individual.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for metsovillas.gr, or by using your browser's cookie settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on.
If you accept analytics, we also use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) so that we can measure how effective our Facebook and Instagram advertising is, and show our ads to people who have already shown interest in MetsoVillas. It records that you visited this site and which pages you viewed, and may be linked to a Facebook or Instagram account if you are logged into one in your browser. This data is subject to Meta's own privacy policy.
You can withdraw consent at any time as described above. You can also manage how Meta uses your data for ads generally through your Facebook Ad Preferences.
Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps location. When that map loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect data such as your IP address, independently of your analytics choice, under Google's own privacy policy.
We only load Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel after you actively consent, as required under the ePrivacy rules and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You are always free to decline or to withdraw consent later, and doing so has no effect on your ability to contact us or view the site.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
